/ Project presentation

EdSex™ is a program for education in emotional and sexual life and prevention of sexual violence specially designed to support professionals working with vulnerable audiences, in particular people with mental disabilities. It provides comprehensive teaching tools - including books and multimedia supports - to structure sessions adapted to different ages and levels of understanding, with a focus on emotions, relationships, puberty, consent and the use of digital tools.

/ Challenges

In many educational and social contexts, education about emotional and sexual life (VIAS) remains inadequate or inappropriate, especially for people with cognitive disorders or special needs. This can leave these people without reliable reference points for understanding their emotions, relationships or respectful behavior. EdSex™ responds to this challenge by offering a structured, progressive framework that respects each person's abilities, enabling caregivers to tackle sensitive subjects with pedagogy and kindness.

/ Objectives

The EdSex™ program aims to empower professionals to effectively teach and prevent risks related to emotional and sexual life, while promoting a clear understanding of the notions of modesty, consent and respect. Through turnkey sessions and adapted tools, it seeks to strengthen communication skills, emotional listening and self-awareness among those accompanied, while helping to create safe and caring educational environments.
