My name is Sébastien Brochot. I am an author, prevention specialist, and trainer.

After working as an actor and director, and being involved for many years in various violence prevention projects, particularly those related to antisemitism, I made the decision about ten years ago to dedicate myself fully to violence prevention. I gradually specialized in the prevention of sexual violence, with a particular focus on educational approaches and the development of psychosocial skills.

I am the president of the’Association Une Vie™, committed to protecting children from the risks of sexual violence. I also work within the CRIAVS Île-de-France, a public hospital service funded by the Regional Health Agency. Within this framework, I am notably developing the leading French-language media outlet Violences-Sexuelles.info.

I run the science popularization channel Preventorium And I design numerous violence prevention programs, aimed at both professionals and the general public. I also write prevention books for all audiences and all ages. They are published by bonheur.fr, an independent publishing house that I created.

Committed to the fields of education and prevention, I support initiatives that aim for lasting change in practices. I work in France and internationally to strengthen the skills of professionals in the prevention of violence, particularly sexual violence.
