Derri\u00e8re ce glissement lexical se joue un enjeu symbolique, politique et juridique majeur.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"828\">En fran\u00e7ais, le mot \u00ab\u202fsurvivant\u202f\u00bb renvoie historiquement et culturellement \u00e0 une exp\u00e9rience de mort imminente\u202f: attentats, catastrophes, camps d\u2019extermination. Son emploi pour parler des violences sexuelles est une importation directe de l\u2019anglais <em data-start=\"623\" data-end=\"633\">survivor<\/em>, dont le sens est diff\u00e9rent et renvoie davantage \u00e0 une posture de r\u00e9silience ou de combativit\u00e9. Cette traduction litt\u00e9rale produit une confusion entre le registre symbolique et le registre r\u00e9el.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"830\" data-end=\"1271\">Qualifier syst\u00e9matiquement les personnes victimes de violences sexuelles de \u00ab\u202fsurvivants\u202f\u00bb revient \u00e0 les inscrire dans une narration de mort, voire de \u00ab\u202fmeurtre psychique\u202f\u00bb, expression m\u00e9taphorique parfois utilis\u00e9e en clinique mais qui, prise au pied de la lettre, brouille les rep\u00e8res. Cette surench\u00e8re lexicale peut renforcer la charge traumatique, figer les personnes dans une identit\u00e9 impos\u00e9e et entraver les processus de reconstruction.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1273\" data-end=\"1654\">La vid\u00e9o rappelle que la pr\u00e9cision du langage est essentielle pour la justice, la pr\u00e9vention et l\u2019accompagnement. Le droit distingue clairement les statuts\u202f: plaignant, puis victime une fois le pr\u00e9judice reconnu. Le terme \u00ab\u202fvictime\u202f\u00bb n\u2019est ni faible ni stigmatisant\u202f: il ouvre des droits, permet la reconnaissance du pr\u00e9judice et l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des dispositifs de r\u00e9paration et de soin.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1656\" data-end=\"2025\">Enfin, l\u2019usage de mots excessifs ou impr\u00e9cis n\u2019honore pas la gravit\u00e9 des violences sexuelles\u202f; il en alt\u00e8re la compr\u00e9hension et fragilise l\u2019\u00e9tat de droit.
