The workshop is available in English, International Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Dutch, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish, under the international brand The Sexual Violence Prevention Workshop (SVPW®)® (SVPW).
The Sexual Violence Prevention Workshop® (SVPW) is a collaborative, interactive, two-hour prevention workshop, offered in person or via videoconference. Through 46 cards divided into four sections (risk factors, consent, consequences, and prevention strategies), it invites participants to engage in collective reflection on sexual violence.
Available in 15 languages, based on current scientific data and aligned with the recommendations of the WHO and UNICEF, the method offers a framework for rich, nuanced and caring exchanges.
Sexual violence remains largely misunderstood, despite its prevalence and profound impact on individuals and society. Awareness campaigns inform but do not always change behaviors: a gap persists between knowing and acting.
The workshop bridges this gap by providing a space where everyone can question their preconceived notions, deepen their understanding, and define their own responsibilities in prevention. Its collaborative and participatory nature allows participants to move beyond simplistic representations and better grasp the complex mechanisms underlying sexual violence.
The workshop was designed to be facilitated worldwide by anyone wishing to contribute to prevention. The 46-card game is available for free download in 15 languages, and the complete method is documented in a book.
The project aims to promote a culture of prevention that is both rigorous and accessible. Everyone can, at their own level, organize or lead the workshop in their company, school, with their family, or in their neighborhood.
