The Fresco of Sexist and Sexual Violence™ This is an interactive, collaborative prevention workshop lasting approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, offered in person or via videoconference. It invites participants to engage in collective reflection on gender-based and sexual violence (GBV) by exploring its origins (risk factors), its forms, its individual and social consequences, as well as the prevention strategies that can help avoid it.
The workshop is based on recent scientific data and offers a framework for rich, nuanced and supportive exchanges between participants.
Gender-based and sexual violence remains largely misunderstood, despite its prevalence and profound impact on individuals and society. Many adults, whether professionals or citizens, have not had the opportunity to analyze these issues in depth or to confront their own perceptions.
This workshop addresses this challenge by providing a space where everyone can question their preconceived notions, deepen their understanding, and define their own responsibilities in prevention. Its collaborative and participatory nature allows participants to move beyond simplistic perceptions and better grasp the complex mechanisms underlying sexual violence.
The workshop The Fresco of Sexist and Sexual Violence™ aims to strengthen participants' knowledge and prevention reflexes by having them reflect together on risk factors, social issues and the impacts of sexual and gender-based violence. It seeks to encourage nuanced understanding rather than immediate emotional reactions, to promote debate and the exchange of viewpoints, and to develop concrete guidelines for action, both in the personal and professional spheres.
